Innovative advanced agrivoltaic system with monoaxial tracking

Agri PV Tech can be installed on all crops with planting layout (kiwi, pears, apples, cherries, hops, vines). Most of the components are made of environmentally sustainable materials and comply with all major industry regulations. The IoT electronics with its IEPFMS (Intelligent Energy & Precision Farming Management System) software enables the integrated management of the structure and all precision farming systems.

Solar tracking and anti-tracking

Agri PV Tech is equipped with an innovative single-axis solar tracking system, designed to maximize both energy production and agricultural yield. Thanks to its wide range of movement up to 90° and the anti-solar tracking function, the system can automatically or via manual control through the IEPFMS software interface adjust to optimize sunlight exposure for the crops below during specific times of the year or hours of the day when required by the crop. For inter-row agrivoltaic systems, the software autonomously adjusts the tracking angle to reduce or completely eliminate shading on the crops.

Protection during treatments

Agri PV Tech is equipped with intelligent IoT technology with IEPFMS software that during sprayer treatments allows to position the PV panels in the opposite direction to the treatments in order to limit the deposition of substances on the structure as much as possible.

Protection during natural disasters

Power Shield Tech is equipped with advanced weather sensors in order to identify thunderstorms and extreme weather situations in real time, thus allowing the IEPFMS software to have the panels oriented in the direction of the wind in order to limit possible damage to the structures as much as possible.

Long-lasting and resilient

Solutions designed to last over time, thanks to careful design (structural calculations and compliance with regulations) and tests (wind, snow, and rain) conducted by universities and research centers.

Agri PV Tech infrastructures allow for cultivation using standard agronomic practices. The Agri PV Tech system can be built with different piling systems:

  • IPE or HEA steel hot-dip galvanized piling systems
  • Valente Pali pre-stressed concrete piling systems

Upon request, anti-hail or rain protection covers can also be applied.

Performance and reliability with SunPower Performance photovoltaic panels

Agri PV Tech uses SunPower Performance double-sided photovoltaic panels featuring the innovative design of stacked hypercells to offer greater durability (30-year warranty) and higher performance (+8%) than conventional solar panels
